2012 Sailing Programme
Maritime Leisure Cruises is owned by Sarah Simms.
The company was originally started
by Sarah and Rodney Bowles in 1993. The first boat we had was a Princess 30 taking
12 passengers.
Very soon the boat was changed to a bigger one, the Mystere which was
capable of taking 25 passengers.
In 2002, Sarah purchased the Boston Belle. After
a complete refurbishment and conversion the Boston Belle was licensed for 60 passengers.
Full of character and complete with a well-
Rodney’s cruiser Mystere is now privately owned and Rodney spends time
between helping on the Boston Belle and enjoying his time in Mallorca.
Trips were
started in Ely, Cambridgeshire, but only lasted a brief time due to Sarah being diagnosed
with Parkinsons Disease and having to slow down on work commitments.
